THE VALLEY’S MATCHMAKER IN REAL ESTATE

I titled myself The Valley's Matchmaker In Real Estate, for that is how I view my job. I have been  matching buyers and sellers together in the Waynesboro, Fishersville, Stuarts Draft and the Staunton area, since 2001. My focus is to put the fun back in looking for the right home and provide the needed information to help my clients make an educated decision.

Prior to my career in Real Estate my background has been in corporate sales for fortune 500 companies. I have always enjoyed working with people and helping them find solutions to challenges that they face. I have a Bachelors Degree in management/marketing  from University Of Minnesota which has been a very useful tool in the Real Estate business.  I grew-up in Minnesota and lived in California and Georgia prior to moving to the Shenandoah Valley. My husband and I chose to move to the Shenandoah Valley to be close to his job and the mountains. As an added perk of living here we have enjoyed the flying out of Eagle’s Nest Airport, hiking on the many trails, motorcycle riding, skiing at the two near-by resorts, enjoy the many wineries and also excellent tennis facilities.   After ten years of living in and selling Real Estate in the Valley I have a lot of experience and insight to assist new residents relocating to the area.  

For my relocation buyers moving to the area I redesigned my website to help them get better acquainted with the area quicker. For my buyers ready to find the right home - I use an incredibly  powerful buyer search system that I customize to each buyers’  needs. This intelligent program  actually updates every evening so that my buyers are informed of the latest price reductions and all new listings within their criteria.

For my sellers, my goal is to get them to their next destination in a timely manner.  When listing a home it comes down to two key categories: pricing and presentation. When pricing the home I always offer two listing prices  for my sellers to choose from one that prices ahead of the market and increases the odds for a quicker sale and the other is a less aggressive price that risks chasing the market. At the end of the day, it is up to the seller which approach works with their wallet and calendar. As for the presentation, that is one of my passions. I stay current with all the resources at hand to provide professional staging advice to help present the home in its best light.
